After nearly nine years in our original office space at the historic Wells Fargo Building, our all-company meetings had become “standing-room only” affairs. While this is by design for our weekly stand-ups, it had proven rather taxing for our monthly team lunches, quarterly company updates, and frequent customer meetings.
Thankfully, our new office is larger, has more meeting rooms, and is only six blocks up Sixth Avenue from our old space. On Monday, we officially opened our doors for business on the mezzanine level of 920 Southwest Sixth Avenue.
Like the Wells Fargo Building, the Public Service Building is a Portland Historic Landmark. It was the final building completed by the prolific Portland architect, A.E. Doyle, before his death in January 1928.
Another interesting fact, our office space once served as the second floor and open airspace for the first-ever Nike retail store. Niketown operated out of this location from November 1990 to October 2011 before it moved to its current location. Nevertheless, our office still possesses a bit of Nike flair thanks to the glossy red boardroom table the prior tenants left for us.
