As part of the Lake Tahoe Environmental Improvement Program (EIP), the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency (TRPA) was tasked with being the primary coordinator of all EIP data, accomplishment reporting, and program accountability for the 50+ EIP partner agencies. No small feat for sure.
To improve data coordination, increase transparency, and showcase all the great work being accomplished, TRPA used funding provided by the US Environmental Protection Agency to hire Sitka and Environmental Incentives to build the ground-breaking, open-source resource known as the Lake Tahoe EIP Project Tracker.
On Tuesday, August 23rd at 10am Pacific/1pm Eastern, we will be hosting a free webcast featuring Jeanne McNamara from TRPA. Jeanne and Matt will share behind-the-scenes information about what it took to launch this web application and how–thanks to its open-source license–other organizations can easily leverage the platform to improve their own programs.
