The Peaks to People Water Fund is comprised of businesses, organizations, individuals and landowners who recognize the need to protect the forested watersheds of Colorado’s Front Range from unprecedented threats that, left unchecked, will greatly damage ecosystems vital to our wellbeing and livelihood. Their vision, mission, and approach are focused on mitigating wildfire risks in order to improve forest health, enhance water quality and quantity, protect wildlife habitat, and ensure businesses that rely heavily on clean and available water can prosper and thrive.

This valuable online tool enables implementers, landowners, and funders to track proposed and active projects across the Cache la Poudre and Big Thompson watersheds in Northern Colorado.

RCD Project Tracker Reaches Milestone

It’s official! As of last week, the RCD Project Tracker is now tracking 100 projects and over $21.8 million in investment throughout California. This is a huge milestone for everyone involved. Thanks go to the folks entering the projects and to the administrators (Ben Weise, Devin Best, John Green, and Brittany Jensen) for fielding support requests and keeping on top of adding new funding sources.
